Joann Côté’s exhibition Bad Times For Bastards explores the harsh realities inflicted on society. In this series of engaging artwork, she addresses the subjects of intolerance and injustice through painting a portrait that is at once poetic and critical of violent and painful issues. The artist initiates personal and intuitive reflections in order to spark a debate on these tense current affairs topics.
