BIOGRAPHY:
Continuously driven to perfect her art, Danielle Scheffer seeks to achieve excellence in watercolour, acrylic and combined mediums. Large formats fascinate her, in which she can use her unique brush strokes, using wide brushes and a limited palette; in doing so, she gets to bring emotion to her creation through characters she likes to draw or recreate in her own way. Her style, which might be described as semi-abstract expressionist, reveals how skillfully she dares to extend herself.
At one time, her teacher said to her: "One must know how to do something precisely before creating an impression of it". Since then, this short sentence has been a leitmotiv throughout her artistic progession. She likes to say: "I would like to translate the essence of my thought in only three lines".
