artistic approach: 

McFarland uses an innovative pouring process to create a dialogue between colours, shapes, and angles. She is an intuitive artist that makes work that elicits an emotional response from her audience. Her studio music selection frequently guides her. We can easily observe how she brilliantly interprets the six components of music: rhythm, dynamics, melody, tone, texture, and form that are masterfully interpreted on her canvases.

The artist personifies the spirit of creativity. Each of her one-of-a-kind artworks bears the breath of a moment well lived, derived from the Latin word "inspirare," which means "to breathe or blow into.

The artist adores the limitless freedom that comes with letting go of preconceived notions and allowing her intuition to guide her through the creative process, "as she was pouring her heart out," she says!

The level of mastery she has attained is apparent. Because the approach is so complex, it is frequently misunderstood. Quite the contrary, the experience is breathtaking, like a prima ballerina spinning on her toes; it appears to be so clean and simple, but hundreds of hours have gone into perfecting the skill.
