BIOGRAPHY: 

Michel Beaucage is a Quebec painter and printmaker born in Montreal in 1958. His work straddles the line between abstraction and figuration, drawing strong inspiration from nature, free-flowing gestures, and Asian artistic traditions. He is particularly noted for his use of rice paper and acrylics, which allow him to create effects of transparency, depth, and fragility.
