Clo

BIOGRAPHY:

Claudia Campbell (Clo) is a Canadian painter who has been developing a practice rooted in emotion, materiality, and the intuitive exploration of gesture for over 15 years. Through abstract art, she creates a sensitive visual language in which textures, forms, and subtle tonal variations reflect an ongoing search for balance between intuition and structure.

Recognizable through her recurring shapes and compositions that are both soft and assertive, her work evolves within a constant dialogue between freedom and precision. Each canvas is built through layers, overlays, and instinctive movements, allowing vibrant, refined, and deeply evocative works to emerge.

Inspired by human relationships and the traces left by time, Clo creates works that invite viewers to slow down, feel, and contemplate. Through the layers, textures, and forms that surface on the canvas, she explores what rises back to the surface and what remains buried: memories, presences, defining moments, and the invisible marks we carry within us. Her compositions become intimate spaces where each viewer can project their own story.

Over the years, she has developed a strong artistic signature. Her work is now part of private collections in Canada and internationally, and has been presented through various collaborations, art fairs, and artistic events.
